100-YEAR-OLD DRIVERS SOUGHT

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Would you believe it? There are actually people over the age of 100 still driving cars. That's according to Steven Latham of The Living Century, an organization that documents the lives of centenarians. He knows of one 104-year-old man in Brentwood, California, who still has a driver's license and tools around town in a new Buick. The organization is currently searching for other people in their 100s for something called "The Living Century Awards," which will be handed out to the "Oldest Licensed Driver," the "Oldest Couple," the "Longest Marriage" and the just plain "Oldest" person found. Latham says there should be plenty of candidates because there are estimated 70,000 Americans who are 100 years or older.
