MINNEAPOLIS MAN KEEPS LINT BALL AS PET

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Wireless Flash) -- A Minneapolis man is blowing the dust off old ideas about lint: He claims he's keeps a living lint ball as a pet. 36-year-old Tom Bilstad says the living lint ball -- which he has named "Critter" -- has been a pet ever since he discovered it scurrying around his apartment. The living lint ball has no head and is about two inches in diameter with a black-gray color similar to standard-issue laundry lint. Bilstad says he hasn't a clue as to what type of energy or life force is animating the domesticated dust bunny, but he claims it behaves much like a mouse. He discusses the joys of owning a living lint ball in the upcoming "Fate" magazine.
