HARRISON STABBING: A GOVERNMENT CONNECTION?

LAYTONVILLE, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Was the stabbing of George Harrison really an assassination attempt by military intelligence? Could be. According to conspiracy researcher John Quinn, the stabbing may have been a botched murder attempt by a covert team of British and American intelligence officers. Quinn says the fact the attacker, Michael Abram, was able to penetrate Harrison's tight security indicates it was an "inside job." Abram's proficiency with a knife also shows he may have been trained as a government assassin a la "The Manchurian Candidate." But why target poor old George? Well, some conspiracy researchers believe the Beatles were actually government shills whose job was to subdue hippies by encouraging the use of LSD. Quinn says now that their mission is complete, the British and U.S. governments may be trying to get rid of any evidence -- and Ringo and Paul McCartney could be next.
