MID-SHOW POTTY BREAKS AND OTHER THEATER BLOOPERS

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Did you hear the one about the actor who left the stage to go to the bathroom? It's not a joke, according to Los Angeles-based theater critic Les Spindle, who says that actually happened at a stage play last year. Spindle says 1999 was full of other theatrical bloopers, such as the time a sneezy stagehand walked on stage in the middle of a performance to grab a box of tissues from the set. Then there was the sexy gay comedy performance that was almost upstaged by the loud voice of a theater employee gossiping in the lobby during the show. Spindle says one of the most humiliating blunders has to be the one-woman show performed by a veteran actress who kept forgetting her lines and had to be audibly prompted from an assistant in the wings.
