EXPERT REVEALS DUMBEST ETIQUETTE QUESTIONS

CINCINNATI (Wireless Flash) -- Good etiquette is no laughing matter -- but some of the etiquette questions people ask are downright silly. That's according to business etiquette expert Ann Marie Sabath, who's been answering etiquette questions through a phone hot line for the past 13 years. One man actually asked her if it was OK for him to use his left hand to shake hands because he's left-handed. Then there was the woman who wondered why she should include her phone number when leaving voice mail messages. Sabath says international etiquette questions can be just as funny, such as the time a German client dining in an American restaurant asked why he wasn't charged for each piece of bread he ate from the bread basket. Or the Italian who was disgusted by the fact that his American colleagues actually cut their pasta before eating it.
