HOW TO GET RID OF LEFTOVER CHAMPAGNE

LIBERTY CORNER, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- Here's a New Year's dilemma you may be facing tomorrow: what to do with all the leftover champagne. According to booze expert Ray Foley of "Bartender" magazine, there are plenty of creative ways to get rid of champagne before all the bubbles have burst. Try combining one part champagne with one part Guinness beer to make a morning-after concoction called "Black Velvet." Also good for a hangover is a champagne drink known as "Sparks" -- three parts champagne with one part pepper-flavored vodka. If there's still any champagne left, you can mix up something called "Death In the Afternoon." It's three parts champagne and one part Pernod, a French liquor that tastes like licorice.
