NORWALK, Conn. (Wireless Flash) -- Hardcore internet addicts won't even have to leave their computer screens come New Year's Eve. A website called iBirthday.com expects 500,000 netheads will ring in the new year at its "virtual New Year's Party." Computer users will get participate in the make-believe party by choosing on-screen icons that range from a toga-clad party animal to a bottle of champagne. Spokesman Brian Jersey expects the virtual bash will be especially popular with lonely computer users who don't have a date for New Year's.
