MAH-JONGG MAKING COMEBACK WITH HIPSTERS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Cigars and martinis aren't the only pre-baby boomer activities being resuscitated by Generation X lounge lizards: now mah-jongg is making a comeback. "Details" magazine reports the ancient Chinese game is shaking off its crusty image and replacing video games as the top party activity with hipsters in Hollywood and New York. So far, the big name in "mondo mah-jongg" is Francis Ford Coppola's son, Roman, who reportedly holds weekly mah-jongg parties for Tinseltown trendoids. Although it's supposed to be a friendly game, some hipsters can't get enough and are reportedly playing for cash at underground parlors and winning as much as $8000 a night.
