NEW TECHNOLOGY EXTRACTS MUSICAL `DNA'

CLIFFWOOD, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- Every living creature on Earth contains unique DNA. Now comes word that every musical recording contains its own form of DNA. The unique patterns are being broken down by something called "Holographic Cloning Amplifier Technology" which breaks sound into tiny components and then reproduces or "clones" them. A spokesman for the New Jersey-based manufacturer claims people who listen to vocal recordings on a system using the technology actually believe the performer is sitting right next to them. Although the H-CAT system is designed to make recordings sound better, the company admits it will also amplify any glitches, mistakes or problems on recordings -- and then there's the matter of the price: the H-CAT sells for $4500.
