DOG OWNER SEEKING GUIDE DOG FOR BLIND POOCH

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash) -- Guide dogs often help out blind humans -- but what about blind dogs? A San Francisco dog owner is mounting a worldwide search to locate a guide dog to help out "Rufus," her blind miniature schnauzer. Rufus previously got around with the assistance of a Siberian husky named "Tundra," who unfortunately passed away. Now his owner, Missy Rangel, wants to find another husky who can lead Rufus around, preferably another husky currently in an animal shelter. Since Rufus is also "spokes-pet" for his owner's pet products company, the guide dog will also get to be a doggie model, appearing on bottles of Cardinal pet shampoo along with Rufus. If you know a dog that would be a good companion to Rufus, you can call (248) 788-9155 or e-mail fucinipro@aol.com.
