MILLENNIUM MOMS SEEING DOUBLE

MILLENNIUM MOMS SEEING DOUBLE

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (Wireless Flash) -- Thought the competition to be the first baby of the millennium was pretty fierce? Try being the first set of twins. "TWINS Magazine," a publication for parents of twins, is holding a contest to find the first sets of twins, triplets and quadruplets of the millennium. Although the first twins of the millennium may not become as famous as the first baby of the millennium, the competition won't be as fierce. If statistics hold true, nearly 11,000 babies will be born in the United States on January 1 -- but only about 300 will be multiple births. Be forewarned: contestants should be willing to accept fame over fortune because the main prizes -- besides a picture in the magazine -- are a free subscription to "Twins" and a box of birth announcements. Parents of millennium multiples can send snapshots and copies of birth certificates to: Millennium Multiples, TWINS Magazine, 5350 S. Roslyn St., Ste. 400, Englewood, Colorado, 80111.
