`GRANDPA GANJA' LOOKING FOR `MARIJUANA MENTORS'

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) -- Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? A retired 68-year-old schoolteacher in San Diego is looking for young marijuana smokers who are willing to teach senior citizens the ins and outs of rolling joints and baking pot brownies. Retiree Evan Keliher claims marijuana is a godsend for oldsters suffering from chronic pain, but negative stereotypes of pot smokers are keeping many seniors from reaping the benefits of the reefer. To change the bad image, he's encouraging younger "marijuana mentors" to ask friends and family if they know of any seniors who could benefit from smoking pot and then show them the ropes. Keliher thinks if enough young'uns get high with Grandpa and Grandma, the resulting good vibes could end the generation gap. To get the word out, Keliher has produced a video titled "Grandpa's Marijuana Handbook -- The Movie," which is available at the oldster's website: grandpaspotbook.com
