86-YEAR-OLD HOPES TO BECOME NEW GROUCHO MARX

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Whoever said old dogs can't learn new tricks never met 86-year-old Alfred Lazarus. The former movie theater manager hopes to make a career switch by becoming the voice of the Groucho Marx soundalike stork in those Vlasic Pickle TV commercials. Lazarus is one of six contestants competing for the honor at a contest to be held in Los Angeles next week. The 86 year old thinks he has an edge over the other competitors because he's been imitating Groucho since 1933. Meanwhile, 11-year-old competitor Sarah Scanlon thinks her youth will give her an advantage and let her read her lines with "more lift, speed and spirit" than her older competition.
