HILLARY CLINTON SELECTED MOST BORING CELEB OF 1999 (EMBARGOED UNTIL DECEMBER 3, 1999)

MAPLEWOOD, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- Hillary Clinton has just won a honor she probably won't enjoy: Mrs. Clinton has been selected 1999's Most Boring Celebrity. The boring titles are handed out each year by the Boring Institute in Maplewood, New Jersey, and according to founder Alan Caruba, Hillary wins the honor this year because, in his words, "She's the perfect description of someone who can't take a hint to go away." Other snooze-inducing celebrities in the Boring Institute's 1999 list include radio talk show host Don Imus, who Caruba calls "Too nice, Too boring. Too often." Al Gore and Bill Bradley, Minnesota governor Jesse "The Body" Ventura and Steve Forbes are also bores according to the Boring Institute. Even the game of women's soccer receives a blast from Caruba who claims the sport itself is so boring that it will never "...be as popular as nude mud wrestling."
