NIGHTTIME BATHROOM VISITS BAD FOR THE BOD

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Here's a news leak for you: Overactive bladders may be keeping you from sleeping at night. Researchers at New York University report more than half of all people who frequently wake up in the middle of the night are awakened by a need to urinate. In fact, folks in the new study were five times more likely to blame their sleeplessness on bathroom visits than on things like noisy neighbors. Researcher Dr. Joyce A Walsleben says the nocturnal bathroom visits may be more than just an annoyance. That's because the lack of sleep caused by taking trips to the loo often results in daytime drowsiness and decreased productivity.
