NEW TREND: JUNK FOOD WEDDINGS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Chew on this: junk food may be replacing haute cuisine as the preferred food for weddings. Take 26-year-old Heather Blake-Mauro of New Jersey, for example, who recently served Susie Q snack cakes as dessert at her wedding reception. And Heather's not alone. According to wedding trend expert Carley Roney of TheKnot.com, brides and grooms are serving the cheapo grub because it personalizes the wedding and makes it more fun for the guests -- as well as cutting the cost of catering. Other matrimonial junk food becoming popular at weddings include Krispy Kreme doughnuts, M&Ms candy and even tacos.
