WIRELESS FLASH BRIEFS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Austin Powers is going digital, baby. To promote the upcoming release of "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, "the fictional British super-spy will lend his voice to AOL's famous tag line, "You've Got Mail." AOL users can also choose sound clips from other characters in the film, including Dr. Evil's sinister laugh. -- NEW YORK -- Kelsey Grammer is nothing like his stuffy "Frasier Crane" character -- at least when it comes to food. Grammer tells "Parade" magazine that unlike his gourmet alter-ego, he has a weakness for greasy fast food french fries, even -- in his words -- the "burnt, stinky ones." -- MINNEAPOLIS -- Looks like Fido will be "home alone" for the holidays this year. According to a new survey by Target Travel Club, 54 percent of Americans plan to leave their pets home alone during the holiday season. Only 16 percent will bring their furry friends along for the party. -- BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Old-time radio comedian Fred Allen may have died in 1956 but he's now returning to Broadway. "Mr. Allen, Mr. Allen," a comedy based on Allen's battle with network censors, will debut in New York sometime next year.
