SNIFFING ROSES MAY HELP ANOREXIA

MUNICH, Germany (Wireless Flash) -- You may turn your nose up at this, but a German aromatherapist claims sniffing rose oil can help cure anorexia nervosa. Munich-based aromatherapist Gisella Bulla, author of "Natural Healing With Aromatherapy" (Sterling), claims anorexics who use rose-scented perfumes learn to like their bodies quicker than normal and usually develop an increased appetite. Bulla says scent therapy is also effective on flatulence, which can be reduced by mixing anise oil, almond oil, fennel seed, coriander and caraway oil. You then smell the concoction and drink it with a little honey before meals. She claims men can attract new sex partners by just dabbing some sandalwood behind their ears, while women on the prowl should use a little ylang-ylang. Finally, if you're a jealous lover, Bulla recommends drinking a few drops of peru balsam in honey and water. She claims the scent of the potion will teach you to be more trusting.
