WORLD'S LARGEST LIGHT BULB TO BE CONSTRUCTED

CLEVELAND (Wireless Flash) -- A light bulb manufacturer has found a bright way to ring in the new millennium -- by constructing the world's largest light bulb. The behemoth bulb is under construction by General Electric atop a Cleveland skyscraper and, when completed, the lamp will be 88 feet high and weigh 8,500 pounds. The light bulb will feature 10,000 individual lights and use 100,000 watts of electricity when the switch is thrown at midnight on New Year's Eve. The lighting company says it's logical for the monster-sized light to be erected in Cleveland, which besides being the home of GE, was one of the first U.S. cities to install street lights.
