COMPANY CREATES BULLET-PROOF BRIEFCASE, BOOK BAG

AUSTIN, Texas (Wireless Flash) -- An inventor in Austin, Texas, has come up with a solution to problems like this year's school and office shootings: bulletproof briefcases and book bags. Inventor Robert Gold claims his "SafeCase" bullet-proof gear can stop bullets up to .44 caliber and is designed to be used as a body shield. The Kevlar-lined bags and briefcases come in several sizes and range in price from $159 to $399. Gold is also marketing something called a "Commuter Anti- Road Rage Shield" -- a bullet-proof shield that fits in your car window.
