FAKE BOY BAND BARRAGED BY RECORD DEALS

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- A group of actors who portray a fake boy band called "The Meaty Cheesy Boys" is being deluged with offers to become a real-life pop group. The five performers currently appear in TV commercials for Jack-In-The-Box hamburgers where they lip-sync a pop song while dancing in synchronized moves "a la" the Backstreet Boys. An agent for The Meaty Cheesy Boys who calls herself "Sohl" claims that ever since the commercial began airing a month ago, she's been bombarded by offers from people who want to book the group. Only two of the five "boys" are professional singers, and none of them actually sing on the hamburger commercial soundtrack. As a result, the agent says she doubts The Meaty Cheesy Boys will dethrone the Backstreet Boys or N-Sync.
