IRISH GHOST TO BE EXORCISED WITH MUSIC

BELFAST, Ireland (Wireless Flash) -- A printing company in Belfast, Ireland, will attempt a "musical exorcism" this weekend to rid the building of the ghost of a teenage girl. John Murphy, a spokesman for the printing firm, claims the ghost belongs to a 16-year-old girl who has haunted the building ever since she fell down a flight of stairs and died in 1912. Murphy says the girlish ghost likes to goose employees, pull electrical plugs out of wall sockets and other annoying pranks. But this Saturday (Oct. 30), the company hopes to get rid of the ghost by playing a recording made in 1911 that is supposedly the 16-year-old girl singing a religious hymn. The theory is that the song will give the girl peace so she'll stop bothering the employees. However, Pennsylvania-based ghost expert Arthur Myers doubts the haunted hymn will placate the teenage spook and says it's more likely to increase the number of hauntings dramatically.
