PARENTS SUBJECTED TO MYSTERY MEAT DURING `SCHOOL LUNCH WEEK'

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Wireless Flash) -- Parents who thought their days of eating "mystery meat" were long behind them are in for a shock. Tomorrow (Oct. 13) is "Take Your Family To Lunch Day," and schoolchildren are supposed to invite their parents to lunch at the school cafeteria. The event is part of National School Lunch Week, and according to the American School Food Service Association, some of the items on the menu will include "Pizzaburgers," a whipped potato dish called "Potato Planets" and a dessert called "Mongoose Muffins." The organization claims cafeteria lunches have changed and these days the dishes are "...nutritious, but appetizing and fun."
