AXL ROSE'S LIFE TURNED INTO A MUSICAL

AXL ROSE'S LIFE TURNED INTO A MUSICAL

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Can you imagine a theatrical musical based on the life of Guns `n' Roses singer Axl Rose? Believe it or not, a former member of the Wall of Voodoo has created a musical production to honor the life of Rose. The play -- called "White Trash Wins Lotto" -- will follow Rose's path from dirt-poor rocker to superstar to recluse. Director and writer Andy Prieboy -- best known for the tune "Mexican Radio" -- says the musical will also poke fun at the recording industry, the Sunset Strip and the price of fame. Although no Guns `n' Roses songs will be used in the production, the cast will include actors portraying Jim Morrison and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler. The musical opens October 21 in Los Angles.
