MALE GENITALIA BOOK HARD TO WRITE, SAYS AUTHOR

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- There's nothing harder than writing a book about the male genitalia -- at least that's according to Joseph Cohen, author of the new book, "The Penis Book" (Konemann). Cohen says after spending hours at sex clubs and nude beaches talking to men about their members, he realized what a rich subject he had on his hands. Some of the Freudian facts unearthed by Cohen include... -- The word "testify" comes from the ancient practice of having a man place his hands over his testicles when he served as a witness. -- The average man produces around 350 billion sperm between ages 15 and 60. -- The average male will own six jockstraps between the ages of 12 and 60. Cohen says he hopes to blow away the taboo about this topic, and he would like to go down in history as the man who made the word "penis" socially acceptable.
