HURRICANE FLOYD WRECKAGE TO BE SOLD AS TOURIST SOUVENIRS

ORLANDO, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- It may sound tasteless but wreckage from Hurricane Floyd is finding a second life as tourist souvenirs. Florida-based real estate investor Barry Abraham is selling 1-inch-square pieces of wreckage from the Daytona Beach pier which was damaged by Hurricane Floyd. Abraham claims he has harvested enough pieces of scrap to manufacture thousands of the trinkets which he plans to sell for $14.95 a piece. The entrepreneur insists he's not doing this for the money - - he just wants to preserve a piece of history for future generations.
