E.T.S BEHIND MARTIAN SATELLITE DOWNING?

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- NASA scientists are blaming the recent disappearance of the Mars Climate Orbiter on a navigational error -- but a Los Angeles-based nuclear physicist claims aliens were involved. Dr. Franklin Ruehl believes extraterrestrials may have purposely sabotaged the Orbiter by zapping it with a laser beam or some form of telepathy. Why would E.T. want to destroy a U.S. satellite? Well, Ruehl thinks the aliens may have a military base near one of the Martian polar caps and they don't want it discovered or disturbed. It may sound farfetched, but Ruehl claims the 1993 Mars Observer met a similar fate after flying too low to the planet. Meanwhile, NASA spokesman Dwayne Brown says Ruehl's theories are "absolutely absurd" and an insult to the scientists who worked on the Orbiter.
