BATHROOM SIGHTINGS OF RATS LINKED TO DROUGHT

DALLAS, Tex. (Wireless Flash) -- This summer's drought is causing an increase in rat sightings -- especially in household toilets. According to Dallas exterminator Michael Bodhan, the drought is forcing rats to seek food and water by swimming up sewage lines and into toilets. Bodhan predicts even more bathroom rat sightings over the next several weeks as the rodents become particularly desperate. He says you can reduce the chances of seeing a rat in your toilet bowl by keeping the lid shut when it's not in use, flushing the toilet before each use and -- most importantly -- always look before you sit down.
