WIRELESS FLASH BRIEFS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

ARLINGTON, Va. (Wireless Flash) -- It's not such a sweet time for the Nestle candy company. Protests from mental health activists have forced the firm to discontinue its line of Tangy Taffy candy featuring characters named "Psycho Sam," "Weird Wally" and "Looney Jerry." -- NEW YORK -- Another case of Beatlemania is breaking out over the upcoming re-release of the band's 1968 animated movie "Yellow Submarine." Although the flick won't hit theaters until mid- month, companies are already jumping on the bandwagon -- or sub, in this case -- and selling everything from $500 animation stills to special internet access for a "sneak preview" scheduled tomorrow. -- LOS ANGELES -- The jokes are going to be real killers on the season premiere of "Diagnosis Murder." The show will feature a parade of '70s-era comics including Ruth Buzzi, Tim Conway, Tom Poston and David Leisure. The show's producers promise two of the comics will be bumped off by the time the show ends.
