WIRELESS FLASH BRIEFS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page will go head to head with rockers The Black Crowes next month in an event some wags have dubbed "The Led Crowes." Page will play onstage with the Crowes and the set list includes hits from their respective bands as well as classic R&B tunes. The Led Crowes will perform four concerts in New York and Los Angeles in mid- October. -- LOS ANGELES -- Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind -- just ask rapper-turned-actor LL Cool J. The performer tells "Backstage West" he refused to talk to his children while he was filming his role as a drug lord in the upcoming flick "In Too Deep." LL says he didn't want to "pollute" the tots with the evil parts of his own personality that surfaced while he played the villainous part. -- NEW YORK -- Even stars have to wear school uniforms. Case in point: 17-year-old Kirsten Dunst, who will be donning the dowdy duds when she heads back to school this month. However, the glamour gal movie star tells "React" magazine she doesn't mind the school uniforms because they "make everyone equal."
