COMPUTERS TURNING KIDS INTO HUNCHBACKS?

WAUSAU, Ind. (Wireless Flash) -- A computer many make your kids as smart as Dr. Frankenstein, but they may wind up looking like his hunchback assistant, Igor. It seems children who spend long hours at computer stations designed for adults are at risk for developing a curved back. According to chiropractor Dr. Scott Bautch, kids who sit in adult chairs while using a computer are often unable to put their back against the seat or touch their feet on the floor. As a result, some children develop abnormal posture and may become slouched-over hunchbacks by the time they're 40. Bautch says the problem can be prevented if the kids simply stretch before using the computer.
