WORKSHOPS HELP YOU FIND YOUR `INNER GRANDMA'

TORONTO (Wireless Flash) -- You've heard of finding your inner child -- well, what about finding your "inner grandma?" Believe it or not, that's the concept behind a new workshop being held by a social science researcher in Toronto. Susan Bosak claims her "grandma workshops" help Baby Boomer women who don't think of themselves as matronly grandmas ease into the role of being a grandmother. Participants discover their inner grandma by going through a series of "visualization" exercises where they remember fond memories of their own grandmothers. The workshop also points out several young-looking grandma role models such as Priscilla Presley. Bosak is the author of book about grandmothers, "Something to Remember Me By" (TCP).
