BIG SCREEN VERSION OF `BATTLESTAR GALACTICA' PROPOSED

FT. WASHINGTON, Penn. (Wireless Flash) -- The former stars of TV's "Battlestar Galactica" are doing a space-age version of putting the cart before the horse: they've produced a movie trailer for a movie that doesn't exist. For the past few years, series star Richard Hatch has been trying to get Universal Studios interested in bringing "Battlestar Galactica" to the big screen, but so far hasn't gotten a bite. So Hatch recently reunited fellow cast members Dirk Benedict and John Colicos to make a four-and-a-half minute trailer they hope will generate interest for a proposed reunion project titled "Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming." The trailer will make its world debut this Saturday (Aug. 28) at a sci-fi convention in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
