AUSSIE CROC CATCHER: `I USE THE FORCE'

QUEENSLAND, Australia (Wireless Flash) -- Australian crocodile catcher Steve Irwin has something in common with Luke Skywalker: they both use "The Force." Irwin, who hosts "The Crocodile Hunter" on the Animal Planet channel, claims he has a sixth sense similar to "The Force" which helps him figure out what's really going on in an animal's head. He says his supernatural powers come in handy whether he's roping a wild crocodile or catching a 5-foot-long poisonous snake. Irwin admits the animal rescues he performs may look risky, but it's all in a day's work. However, the croc hunter admits to having one pet peeve: He dislikes being called a real-life "Crocodile Dundee" because that character actually killed crocs -- something Irwin would never do. "The Crocodile Hunter" will make its season debut August 29.
