SHARING SAME BIRTHDAY AS SPOUSE NOT ALWAYS BLISS

SHARING SAME BIRTHDAY AS SPOUSE NOT ALWAYS BLISS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Frank Gifford turns 69 on Monday (Aug. 16) -- the same day wife Kathie Lee turns 46. But, according to other couples who share the same birthday, it "ain't" necessarily a good thing. Jill and Adam Ryder of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, complain that because they were both born on January 18, their birthdays feel more like anniversaries that require hours of shopping for gifts. To make matters even crazier, their first child was due on January 18, so they asked the doctor to induce labor so it would be born two days early. Mitch and Aimee Ahiers -- who were both born on May 17 -- say having the same birthday makes for a fun party, but misses the uniqueness of birthdays. One positive comment about being born the same day as a spouse comes from L.A.-based relationship expert Dr. Mark Goulston: A husband with the same birthday as his wife is less likely to forget it.
