YOSEMITE MURDERS GIVING BAD NAME TO BIGFOOT RESEARCH?

PORTLAND, Maine (Wireless Flash) -- A cryptozoologist in Portland, Maine, believes Bigfoot researchers may be able to help the FBI solve the mystery behind those Yosemite murders. Professor Loren Coleman says news reports are suggesting that the alleged murderer -- 37-year-old Cary Stayner -- was an amateur Bigfoot researcher who spent countless hours looking for the hairy creature in Yosemite. Coleman believes Stayner may be connected to a California- based group of Bigfoot buffs known as the "Modesto Cranksters," who supposedly use Bigfoot hunts as an excuse to visit isolated areas and use drugs and conduct other illegal acts. Although Stayner has confessed to the murders, Coleman says the FBI should closely examine his connection to the Modesto Cranksters, since a few members were suspects in the Yosemite murders until Stayner's confession. Coleman hopes anyone with inside knowledge of the Modesto Cranksters will contact FBI officials immediately before the murders bring a bad name to Bigfoot research.
