MAN BLAMES WIFE'S FOOD FETISH FOR HIS 850-POUND BODY
SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) -- A man who tipped the scales at 850 pounds claims his ex-wife's bizarre food fetish turned him into a glutton for punishment. 41-year-old Rick Contratto of San Diego says that when he met his ex-wife in 1980, he was a strapping 6-foot 4-inches, weighing only 250 pounds. He claims his wife was a "chubby chaser" who became sexually aroused by feeding fat guys as if they were little babies. On one occasion, Contratto claims she forced him to eat six hot dogs, an entire bag of potato chips and a half-gallon of ice cream and would beat him with a stick if he didn't finish every bite. By the time he divorced her in 1987, he was a bloated 850- pound prisoner in his own home. Since then, he has lost 310 pounds and hopes to lose even more next month when he has his stomach stapled.
