400-POUND MADONNA IMPERSONATOR MAKES COMEBACK

BRONX, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) -- A 400-pound Madonna impersonator who hasn't performed in three years hopes to get his career back "into the groove." For six years, 28-year-old Greg Tanian squeezed his tubby torso into cone-shaped bras and performed Madonna songs under the name "Queerdonna." But in 1996 he fell into a deep funk and lost the desire to perform after an altercation with United Airlines over his massive weight. Now the massive Madonna is ready to rumble again and will make his first appearance in three years at a Madonna convention in New York City on August 7. Tanian insists he's an actor, not a transvestite and claims the Material Girl loves his cross-dressing antics. If the Queerdonna comeback goes well, Tanian hopes it will interest TV producers in his new sit-com which he describes as "I Love Lucy" meets "The Honeymooners."
