ROMANCE WRITERS TO LEARN HISTORY OF SEX

HOUSTON (Wireless Flash) -- Never underestimate the lengths a romance writer will go to make her book accurate -- even if it means delving into "The History of Sex." That's just one of the seminar topics scheduled for the annual Romance Writers of America convention which will get underway next Wednesday in Chicago. A spokesperson says it's important for romance writers to bone up on the history of contraception, childbirth and other sex matters in order to be historically and technically correct. The mostly female members of the group will also suit up in ball gowns to learn authentic dances from the 1800s and attend a class on firearms so they can write realistic scenes involving weapons. There's even a seminar to discuss the best plot devices for keeping the hero and heroine from hitting the sack too soon entitled "Tight Fittin Jeans: How to Create Sexual Tension."
