TREND WATCH: Y2K BRIDES LIKELY TO GO BAREBACK

ARDMORE, Pa. (Wireless Flash) -- The year is only halfway over, but trend-watchers are already predicting which fashions will be popular with brides in the next millennium. According to experts at David's Bridal chain, one of the hottest trends will be "bare look" wedding gowns which expose a lot of skin. Spokesperson Collene Kennedy also predicts Y2K brides will look to the past for a medieval look -- such as the plunging neckline gowns worn by Gwyneth Paltrow in "Shakespeare in Love" or the shoulder-baring frocks worn by Michelle Pfeiffer in "A Midsummer's Night Dream." Also on the hot bridal look list will be sparkly tiaras or headpieces that will draw spectators' eyes away from the bustline and all that flesh.
