BEST HAWAIIAN HULA DANCERS ARE TRANSVESTITES

HONAUNAU, Hawaii (Wireless Flash) -- Were members of Hawaiian royalty similar to the ancient Greeks when it came to homosexuality? Hawaiian travel writer Matthew Link has uncovered evidence that Hawaiian kings were required by law to engage in homosexual relationships with lower-ranking members of royalty. Hawaiian royalty would also give their sex organs descriptive names. King Kalakaua's organ was named "halala" which means "to bend low" and Queen Liliu'okalani's privates were dubbed "anapau" which means "frisky." Link also reports that cross dressing is still common in parts of Polynesia and Hawaii, and some of the best hula dancers these days are really transvestites. Link discusses the secrets of Hawaii's gay past in a new book, "Rainbow Handbook Hawaii" (Missing Link).
