MILITANT MOM INSPIRED WORLD'S FIRST SELF-CLOSING TOILET SEAT

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Wireless Flash) -- A Canadian man is about to introduce an invention that may make him the Thomas Edison of the toilet: a self-closing toilet seat. The device -- called the "Considerateseat" -- will be introduced in the United States later this year and, according to inventor Tim Feniuk, it consists of a toilet seat that automatically lowers itself after use. Feniuk, who grew up in a house filled with sisters, came up with the idea for the self-closing seat after his "militant mother" repeatedly yelled at him whenever he left the seat up. The "Considerateseat" sells for about $38 in Canada and should be available in the U.S. this fall.
