CROSS-DRESSING CREDIT CARD NAPPERS STILL AT LARGE

PASADENA, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- A band of cross-dressing credit card thieves is bringing new meaning to the term "dress for success." The two-men, one-woman gang obtain credit cards using phony female names, then the two men dress in drag and make purchases and ATM withdrawals using the fake name. So far the gang -- dubbed "The CrissCross Credit Card Crew" -- has stolen more than $1 million and is confounding cops in Southern California. A fourth member of the transvestite gang has been arrested and is currently serving a three-year sentence in federal prison -- but his cross-dressing cohorts are still at large. The suspects include Tyrone Clifton who poses as "Jennifer Fomby," Basil Haughton, a.k.a. "Toni Johnson," and the only "real" female of the bunch, a woman named Denise Parker.
