WOULD YOU PAY $8400 FOR THURSTON HOWELL'S TEDDY BEAR?

SEATTLE (Wireless Flash) -- How would you like to own the teddy bear used by Mr. Howell on "Gilligan's Island"? The infamous bear with a hollow center was a prop used by Jim Backus and will be auctioned off this Saturday at Amazon.com. The bear belongs to the family of Bob Denver, who plan to use proceeds from the sale to purchase a star for Denver on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Gilligan's family hopes it will sell for more than $8,000. Other items up for auction include... -- The "Ten Commandment Tablets" used in the 1956 version of "The Ten Commandments." Estimated value: $28,000. -- A plywood "pulse rifle" used in the movie, "Alien", could net $6000. -- And, finally, the animatronic bat strangled by Jim Carrey in "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls" could also sell for $6000 -- including the prop cage.
