MAN INVENTS WORLD'S FIRST INFLATABLE TOILET

VANCOUVER, B.C. (Wireless Flash) -- Here's something that may float your boat: a Canadian man has created the world's first inflatable toilet. Inventor Tim Fleming came up with the idea of an "inflatable john" after a customer asked him how his wife was supposed to answer the call of nature aboard his small inflatable boat. The $600 loo looks like a built-in cushioned seat -- but once the cover is lifted and a switch is thrown, a 6-foot-tall, air-filled privacy tent springs out to create an instant PortaPotty. Fleming, who works for the Zodiac boat manufacturing corporation, says his inflatable toilet can hold about six bowel movements, after which it must be emptied within 24 hours. The company hopes the new john will appeal to boaters and campers who feel humiliated draping blankets over their laps while sitting on buckets.
