OWNER OF BOB DYLAN'S BOYHOOD HOME FINDS SINGER'S OLD BRYLCREAM

HIBBING, Minnesota (Wireless Flash) -- This Saturday (June 5) will mark the 40th anniversary of the day singer Bob Dylan graduated from Hibbing High School in Hibbing, Minnesota. One person who will be celebrating is Hibbing resident Bob French, who has lived in Dylan's boyhood home since 1990. When he first bought the house, 44-year-old French feared the Dylan connection might cause a constant barrage of tour buses. But he says other than an occasional visit from European and Asian tourists, he rarely gets hassled. Although Hibbing city officials have talked about turning the old Dylan place into a museum, French hopes that won't happen too soon because he's still raising his family there. However, if Hibbing does decide to turn the house into a Bob Dylan shrine., French is prepared. He recently discovered an old tube of Brylcream that once belonged to Dylan and plans on holding onto it until he gets the right offer.
