RUMORS NOT HURTING RICKY MARTIN'S RESTAURANT BUSINESS

MIAMI, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- Recent rumors of pop singer Ricky Martin's sexuality are having no effect on business at Club Salsa, the Miami restaurant owned by Martin. The restaurant -- which serves Puerto Rican-style cuisine -- has been a hit with Latin locals since it opened last December, but business is really booming ever since the English version of "Living La Vida Loca" became a hit. Club Salsa manager Anderson Altieri says some patrons make reservations hoping Martin will be their waiter, but he usually only shows up once a week. Martin's favorite dish is "Asapo de pollo," a Puerto Rican chicken gumbo, but he's also fond of the restaurant's flan custard. While most people go to Club Salsa for the food, there's been a recent influx of people popping in to ask if there's any truth to the rumor that Martin is gay. Altieri says he's so sick of the "Is Ricky gay?" question, that he's formulated a standard response: "If you want to find out, let him spend five minutes with your girl."
