TEENS TELLING THEIR PARENTS OFF

TEENS TELLING THEIR PARENTS OFF

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Teenagers may have no choice in who their parents are, but if they could, what qualities would they choose? That's what the editor of a new book asked teenagers and here's what came back... -- A 17-year-old boy says the perfect parent wouldn't "grab the remote control" when he's in the middle of a show. -- A 14-year-old girl thinks a good parent will let her "slack off." -- One 13-year-old suggests parents shouldn't try to impress their kids' friends by trying to act "cool." -- And, finally, a 14-year-old boy thinks a good parent should be mellow and warns, "If you aren't, someday I might SNAP." The teen comments appear in the new book "Always Accept Me For Who I Am: Instructions On Raising The Perfect Parent" (Three Rivers Press).
