LITTLETON MAN TO ATTEMPT WORLD RECORD FOR BOWLING

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- A Littleton, Colorado, man says he will attempt to set a world record this weekend for the longest time spent bowling. Thomas Becker will start bowling at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Friday (June 4), and won't stop until he's hauled the ball for 24 hours straight. Seven assistants will help Becker by keeping track of his bowling balls and giving him snacks and drinks to keep his energy up. The bowling feat will take place at the AMF Chelsea Piers Lanes in New York City, and will be observed by officials who will report the outcome to "The Guinness Book of World Records." Insiders claim the last time Becker bowled for 24 hours straight, he had to be carried off in a stretcher due to exhaustion.
