IT'S NOT EASY BEING A MALE STRIPPER

SEATTLE (Wireless Flash) -- Think being a Chippendales dancer is all fun and games? One former dancer claims there's a dark side behind the sexy bow ties. Former Chippendale Troy Kline, who shimmied his way through a five-month stint with the troupe, says being a male stripper can strip away a man's dignity. The 34-year-old hunk claims many of the dancers abuse drugs and booze and often treat women like pieces of meat. But the women also treat the dancers like pieces of meat: Kline says he actually lost the feeling in his crotch when women would repeatedly squeeze it. The ex-dancer also says it was a hassle living up to the Chippendales fantasy, because women he dated expected him to be a sexual superman and would get angry if he showed any hint of performance anxiety. Kline reveals the bare facts about male dancers in his new book, "Chippendales...The Naked Truth" (Pacifica Press).
